Although nothing is fool proof, this seems like a good way to store your seed phrase. It’s a cool little gadget and you get way more characters than you could need. Also a nice gift for family members who have bitcoin/crypto.

Overall, I'm very happy with both products but for different reasons. I would want to take features from both products to make the best wallet. Some may consider this a security matter, but I wish there was somewhere to notate what wallet the key goes to. I have a few different wallets and it would be nice to know which key belongs to a particular wallet. Also, both wallets have room for 24 words -- 1-12 on one side and 13-24 on the other. If you only have one wallet with 12 words, the rest go to waste. Additionally, if you have a wallet with 25 words, there's nowhere to put the 25th word.

If you only have a few dollars in crypto, then it may not justify the price of the Billfodl. If you are storing a few weeks’ salary in crypto, then it is probably a good idea to have a stainless steel backup like a Billfodl.

The product itself is well made, the tiles can be fidgety, and take some time to place. But I think it is a great way to reduce the risk of damage to the storage of the recovery seed.
