⚖️ Final Say - Yay or Nay?

Skillshare—compared to other expensive online learning platforms—is absolutely worth it for beginners and experts looking for an at-your-own-pace learning experience. A Skillshare account gives you unlimited access to a wide variety of online classes. Skillshare offers the perfect balance of specific skill development and aspirational learnings to help students thrive in the real world.

I was looking for some courses on Adobe to help with my photoshop and illustrator skills and was so happy to find Skillshare, the handful of courses I've taken have been perfect. It helped me a lot to advance in my graphic design career. I highly recommend Skillshare!

I would 100% say that a Skillshare subscription is worth the money. There are so many courses and the subscription is unlimited.

Overall, Skillshare is great if you are interested in learning new things. It can be a great way to pass the time but don’t expect to be able to use it as educational or work credits. What Skillshare offers for the price is amazing.

Whether you’re looking to learn, you’re looking to become a creator, or perhaps a combination of both, Skillshare is a superb platform and I recommend it 100%.

The cool thing about it is that the courses are built to help students engage with each other. There are slight differences in this since instructors get to decide how to do it, but many instructors include a project component where they will look at class projects or get feedback, or students can check on each other’s projects.

I have really enjoyed my Skillshare Premium membership as both a way to hone my design and art skills, but also to discover new creative outlets. And even if I don't feel like picking up my iPad or a sketchbook to start drawing, it's really soothing for me to watch other people draw and create art while talking me through their process. I recommend checking out some of their free classes or signing up for the free Premium trial if you're unsure and want to get a sense of the classes. Before writing this post, I had forgotten how many small bits of knowledge I'd accumulated from these classes that I use in daily life. My Skillshare membership has definitely been worth it for me.

Skillshare is a unique opportunity to learn from some of the world’s top experts in their field (an SEO course by Rand Fishkin, for example) for less than the cost of a few fancy coffees. Most of the courses were shorter than I expected, yet still packed a massive punch — and can even be watched at 1.5x speed, if you’re in a big rush. If you’re a perpetual student, a budding entrepreneur, a lapsed creative or any combination of the above, don’t surprised if you’re quickly hooked!
